About Me

My photo
My wife and I are missionaries to England. We will be planting local, New Testament, Bible-believing Baptist churches. We are sent out of Mamre Baptist Church in Kitts Hill, Ohio. We will be serving in Beeches Road Baptist Chapel upon arrival. This is a church plant near Birmingham, England. Please pray for God to be glorified and the hearts of the British to be opened to the Gospel!

Flagstaff, Arizona

From Arizona City, we travelled up to Flagstaff to be in the Sunday evening service with Ponderosa Baptist Church.  It was quite a change from the desert in the south to the mountains in the north!  We went from 98 degrees to 70 in just three hours!  Ponderosa is also a young church plant.  They have just moved into a new building.  They have a beautiful sanctuary and in a good location.
Pastor Joshua Gregg

There was a retired pastor visiting who sang a special during the service.  He travels around with his wife and they minister in churches throughout the western states.

Before we left town, we took a little trip up to the Grand Canyon, which was about an hour and a half from our hotel!  We enjoyed viewing God's wonderful creation on this trip out west!

TOO close to the edge for me!

Heaven's View

After our meeting in Houston, we traveled to Arizona City, Arizona.  Heaven's View Baptist Church is pastored by Darrell Roe.  We arrived on Saturday and were able to help with the new church building.  It was exciting to see this church plant growing and preparing to move to a new location.

The New Property and building.

We went to In-N-Out Burger after working at the church.  This is Pastor Roe's son and daughter and the two Qualls boys.

The Qualls have been in Arizona for a month and are here to be a help in this ministry!

When Sunday morning came, it was evident that they did need a new church building.  They have been meeting in a house and are in much need of the extra space!!  It was a joy to be with a church that is in the beginning stages and seeing God work mightily!

These two young ladies sang a special during the service.

A packed house for morning worship service!!
While driving through Arizona we were able to see the Saguaro cactus!!  The summer time is actually their slow season, so we were the only ones out and about in the park on Saturday morning.

These Saguaros were HUGE!  They are definitely not small like the western cartoons!

This is one of the younger cactus.  It takes 75 to 100 years for them to grow their first arm.

I thought the green trees were neat!

One of our Prayer Warriors!

On our way to our Wednesday evening meeting in Houston, TX, we had the wonderful blessing of traveling through Arkansas and stopping in to see Jonathan's Great-Grandma Kauffman.  She will be 92 on August 7th!! We went to see her at the nursing home and were able to sing some hymns and play some special music for her and some of the other residents.  Jonathan's Grandpa came and played the saw while I played the piano!  We had a great time!

We sang a duet.  Jonathan also sang with us, but we didn't have anyone else to take the pictures!

Great-Grandma Sarah Kauffman

What a fun time to be all together!!
We are praising the Lord that we have a wonderful Godly lady who is faithfully praying for us every day. Thank you to everyone who is praying for us.  We are currently at 65% of our support! God is answering prayer!

Newburgh, Indiana

On June 1-5 we were in a Mission Conference at Maranatha Baptist Church in Newburgh, IN.  We met so many wonderful people and made many new friendships! The theme was "Send the Light."  The Conference Speaker was Pastor Scott Baker from Belleville, Illinois.  The other families who presented their work were the Johnsons to Lithuania and the Fannings to Bolivia. It was a special blessing to be able to spend so much time getting to know the families of the church and also the other missionaries!!

Pastor Curtis Hall and Mrs. Hall, Autumn, Ashlyn, Aleah, and Aryn.

The Fanning family sang hymns for us in Spanish.

Bro. Fanning received a special gift from the church!

Waders for baptizing in Bolivia!

Bro. Baker was used of the Lord to speak to many hearts.

He used Bro. Fanning, Bro. Johnson, Jonathan, and Pastor Hall for an illustration.

We went to lunch at Charlie's Mongolian Barbeque.

There was an international banquet on Saturday evening.

Q & A time

Sunday evening the Women's Missionary Society met.  Mrs. Fanning and I both shared our testimony of how the Lord called us and our husbands to the field.

Mrs. Baker was the main speaker for the W.M.S. meeting.

Bro. Fanning taught the children some Spanish during Pastor's Pals time and they gave a short presentation during the evening service.

Autumn Hall accompanied for Bro. Ricky Moon from Shawnee Baptist College.

Bro. Moon sang "The Sun's Coming Up in the Morning" and "The Value of One."

Joshua Luedke was saved on Sunday morning after Sunday school!

Pastor Hall baptized Joshua after the Sunday evening service!
