My wife and I are missionaries to England. We will be planting local, New Testament, Bible-believing Baptist churches. We are sent out of Mamre Baptist Church in Kitts Hill, Ohio. We will be serving in Beeches Road Baptist Chapel upon arrival. This is a church plant near Birmingham, England. Please pray for God to be glorified and the hearts of the British to be opened to the Gospel!

Mission Conference in Danvers, Illinois

We visited Danvers Baptist Church back in the fall of 2010.  Pastor Taylor invited us to come back for their mission conference this year.  The main speaker for the conference was Pastor Scott Caudill from Atlanta, Georgia.  Each night one missionary preached and also Bro. Caudill.  There was also a question and answer time each night.

Pastor Taylor and Bro. Mason during question time.
Bro. Caudill also sang a song each night before he preached.  What a blessing!!

Saturday evening there was an International Dinner!  We had a great time with all of the church family.
The meeting culminated on Sunday morning and the church members turned in their faith promise cards for this year.  We always enjoy the opportunity to be in a mission conference because we are able to spend so much more time getting to know people!

Bro. Thacker spoke during Sunday school.
Jonathan preached from Matthew 28.  His message was entitled, "All."
Sunday evening, we dropped in on a church and were blessed to schedule a meeting and a mission conference!  The Lord is so good to us and we are grateful for His care and blessings each day!

Dupont, Indiana

Our Wednesday service was at Dupont Baptist Church.  On Wednesday morning, Jonathan had the opportunity to speak at their Christian school chapel. We stayed for lunch and recess, fun!

A ping-pong challenge after lunch!

The children were playing a game of four-square.

Pastor Hamliton

Knox and Lebanon, Indiana

On February 13, we had the opportunity to go back to New Hope Baptist Church.  We visited there last summer and it was a joy to be back with many friends.

Bro. Diego taught the Sunday school class in the auditorium.

The men sang a special song during the morning service.

Pastor and Mrs. Cargo were away for their anniversary, so the pastor's son and his family took us out to lunch.  Mike and Jared ordered burritos, but they were a little larger than they expected!
Sunday evening we were in Lebanon, Indiana.  We enjoyed meeting so many new people.  We met two men here who had been working in my hometown in Ohio and had attended Mamre (our sending church) last week!  Our friend Beth Cuevas also attends this church.  We worked in a Bible Club in Knoxville with her last year while we were taking our Masters!  It was fun to fellowship with her again before and after the service!

A Week at Home

We were blessed to have three local meetings this week and were able to stay at home!  Jonathan had the opportunity to preach and share our burden for England.  On Thursday evening, we went to the nursing home and sang some special music and hymns.  Bro. George Fuller from our home church brought a devotion for the residents.  We gave out Valentine Cards to the residents from the children at Mamre.  We have also been able to spend a lot of time in the office catching up on Thank-you letters and phone calls!

Pastor Ralph Shaffer

Jonathan and Mrs. Shaffer were watching two little dogs playing in the church yard!
A day at the church office!

Jonathan makes a LOT of phone calls!

Please pray for us as we have many meetings in the heart of the country.  Lord willing we will be in meetings in Indiana, Illinois, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri between now and March 6.  We praise the Lord for so many meetings and for the opportunity we will have to see Jonathan's family again while in Missouri!

Muskegon, Michigan

We left from Rockford on Monday because a blizzard was forecasted to move through on Tuesday.  We headed to Muskegon, Michigan and spent a little extra time with Pastor Hutchison and his family.  On Tuesday they invited us to go skiing with them because it was homeschool day at the ski resort.  We had a great time, but very cold!  We arrived back in Muskegon just before the snow storm hit!  When we woke up on Wednesday, this is what we saw outside!

This is the parsonage we stayed in while we were at Little Black Lake Baptist Church.

Pastor Hutchison

I met Bobbie at Little Black Lake Baptist Church!
We received news of four more churches that are beginning to support us this week!  We are now at 40% of our support!!! Keep praying that God will bring in our support quickly!
This is us with Pastor Hutchison and his family (Except for Millie, she was at home sick.)

Trip to Illinois

This past week has been a great blessing.  God has been so good to us!!  We thoroughly enjoyed the time we were able to spend in each church this week.  Sunday morning we were in Washington, Illinois with Pastor & Mrs. Keith Thibo.  This was another church we had been to in the summer with the Crown Ladies' Ensemble. It was a blessing to see many familiar faces and to spend more time with the Pastor and his family!
Jonathan taught the Sunday school class that meets in the auditorium.

These ladies sang one of my favorite songs, "He Loved Me."

Pastor Thibo preached in the morning service.
Again this Sunday there were two young men who trusted Christ as their Savior and were baptized at the end of the morning service!

This young man's sister also received Christ as her Savior this morning!

Mrs. Thibo and her granddaughter Ruthie
Sunday evening we were in Rockford, Illinois at Berean Baptist Church.  We were also with this church for a meeting in May last year with the Ensemble.  The Lord has truly blessed us with so many friends all over the country who are praying for us!

The singing here was a great blessing and encouragement!

The Childrens Choir

Pastor Mark Swanson
At the end of this service, Pastor Swanson made a motion that the church vote to begin supporting us!  This was an added blessing at the end of a wonderful Lord's Day!
